The role of Lighting Images is one of a member of your team, and as such would be to assist in preparation of lighting information to be incorporated into works produced by you. Specific tasks to be undertaken are summarised into the following stages:

 
1. Project Initiation
  • consulting agreement formalisation
  • review of existing lighting installation
  • reviews of existing studies relevant to lighting & the visual field
2. Draft Concept Plan
  • compile planning and design objectives related to lighting
  • lighting concept design
  • budget estimates
  • provide information to corporate into draft report
3. Draft Design Guidelines
  • review existing guidelines and comment on lighting issues
  • prepare lighting guidelines
4. Public Consultation
  • no lighting specific involvement anticipated
5.

Final concept plan & design guidelines

  • comments and adjustments determined by results of public consultation
  • provide information to incorporate into final report
6.

Design & documentation of Stage 1 Works

  • provide information to incorporate into final design presentation documents
  • produce drawings and specification section to be
  • incorporated as a sub-contract within the overall documentation
  • technical review of electrical sub-contract tenders received
7.

Contract Administration of Stage 1 Works

  • review of contractor's shop drawing & compliance certificates for switchboards and poles
  • review of contractor's samples of poles and luminaries before delivery to site
  • review of switchboards at manufacturer's premises before delivery to site
  • site observation of contractor's works
